Combining Weight Lifting, HIIT, and Reformer Pilates and members can go as many times as you want, your fitness goals will be made easy. We believe in the good old gym sesh lifting heavy and getting stronger, but to sustain our progress it is best to suppliment it with pilates to help stretch away tightness from the tough workouts.
We believe in sustainability and longevity as every one in each community is at different level's of fitness and we believe it's better to achieve results through consistancy in progression rather than how hard you go each session.. in saying that most of our client's get carried away and intensify the workout from getting pumped by our trainers, so we are here to push you toward your goals by providing a multi-purpose weight room for HIIT sessions and an alternative with pilates and the health benefits you will get from a reformer.
Prior to a fitness screening, our members can come in between the sessions for self managed workouts in the weight room like a conventional gym. We also do private sessions to many clients to help customise workouts to specific needs.

Studio 25 Maribyrnong is a boutique studio that is class based. We have classes by the hour in the morning 5:30am to 10:30am and in the evening 5pm to 7pm. There is always a minimum of 1 trainer per class so you will be supported by the best and we have the workout already planned for you so you don't even have to think, just book in, come to the sessions, workout and get results. At Studio 25 we are exercises enthusiasts turned trainers not the other way around and we practice the methods we teach. After teaching Reformer Pilates for over 10 years I have noticed strength plateau such as clients after doing 2 - 3 years of pilates become really good at the pilates exercises with good stability and core-strength still not able to do 5 full push ups on their toes and clients in HIIT classes struggling with 2min planks.
While it is really important to incorporate weights into your workouts, we don't recommend going 100% 7 days a week HIIT classes as that will lead to nasty pains in your tendons and ligaments and sometimes injuries but we have seen many clients doing pilates 7 days a week with no problems.
So why not mix it up and do them both?
Reformer Pilates and Pilates in general help build strength at your widest range of movement helping you reduce the risk of injury and improve flexibility while HIIT classes burn more calories and help introduce weight lifting into your workout routine but don't under estimate pilates..
While Pilates is a great way to introduce exercise into your lifestyle for beginner's whom have never stepped foot into a gym, many experienced workout junkies tell us pilates is even harder than weight lifting. This is because the unique nature of Pilates and Reformer Pilates working muscles you will never existed.
Because of Pilates slow, steady, and strong nature and many of it's exercises being body weight based - it is challenging for clients at all different fitness levels.
Pilates is designed to test your overall core strength and endurance with it's constant flow of moves rather than stop/start exercises during interval training. It is to test how stable and how long you can stay stable while performing exercises to your greatest range of movement in good form because injuries and strains don't usually occur at the strongest point of our power curve but rather when our body moves beyond the range it is used to therefore it's important to practice good form and strength while increasing our range of movement.
We help keep ourselves accountable with the HIIT vs Pilates challenge consisting of Push ups, Dead hang / Pull ups, Wall sit, Sled push, Rower, Side planks, Prone scapular retraction back touches, Reformer scooter, Reformer plank, Squat hold hands over head; every 8 weeks.
